Impact Fund Forum – 2026 Invited Funds

The following 12 Canadian-based social impact funds have been invited to present at the Impact Fund Forum on March 12, 2026 in Kitchener. They were selected from 32 submissions across Canada and represent a diverse range of impact themes including equity, climate, food systems, entrepreneurship, Indigenous leadership, and women-led innovation.

Summary: Committed to closing one of the largest funding gaps in Canada's ecosystem by investing in high-growth technology companies led by exceptional Black entrepreneurs building solutions for tomorrow’s economy.

 

BlackTech Capital Fund I

Summary: A pre‑seed ClimateTech and CleanTech impact fund focused on underrepresented founders leading innovation in Canada.

 

Bloom Local Food Equity Fund

Fund Size: $30M
Summary: Bloom Local Food Fund invests in Seed to Series A local food businesses across Southern Ontario and Southern Quebec providing patient, flexible capital to founders building a more resilient and sustainable food system.
