Downtown Resilience Fund
The Downtown Resilience Fund strives to advance the work organizations do to support people put in vulnerable situations as a result of gentrification. To mitigate the direct and indirect impacts of gentrification, funding will go to causes related to social inclusion and anti-racism as well as financial security and affordable housing.
Recognizing our community’s history, including our location on the Haldimand Tract and our lack of progress related to systemic racism, this fund will focus on removing obstacles for Indigenous and Black community members.
To make an online donation to the Downtown Resilience Fund under $5,000, please use the form below. For donations of $5,000 or more, or if you would prefer to donate offline (e-transfer, cheque, phone, etc.), please visit our page about other ways to give.
